In April 2024, ACT Foundation took part in the Global Iftar Feeding Program, reaching out to over 500 devotees across six mosques and madrassas in various villages of Madaripur. This initiative, supported by Sanabil Foundation under the Global Iftar Feeding project of the Human Development Fund, aimed to provide iftar meals to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
The iftar programs took place at prominent locations including Baitun Noor Mosque, Morol Bari Mosque, East Rastri Moulavi Bari Mosque, Madhya Kardi Baitul Ma-Mur Mosque, Aysa Harun Mosque, and Rasti Union Parishad Mosque. Through these efforts, ACT Foundation helped provide nourishing meals for 500 people, including the needy, elderly, and devotees who otherwise would have faced difficulty accessing proper meals for iftar.
This initiative not only aimed to support the community with food during the month of fasting, but also fostered a sense of community solidarity and compassion. By reaching out to multiple mosques and madrassas, ACT Foundation helped bridge gaps and create connections between diverse groups within Madaripur.
Through the Global Iftar Feeding initiative, ACT Foundation reinforced its commitment to community welfare, empowerment, and humanitarian aid during Ramadan, demonstrating the enduring power of collective goodwill and action to support those in need.
