Why Are We?

Established in December 2019, Actions Contributing to Transformation (ACT) Foundation exists to drive positive and lasting change in Bangladesh through education, technology, and sustainable development.

We believe transformation begins when people are empowered with knowledge, confidence, and opportunities to shape their own futures. Our mission is to enable individuals—especially youth and underprivileged groups—to enhance their learning, digital competence, and employability. At the same time, our vision extends to building a society where everyone, regardless of background, has equal access to education, digital resources, and sustainable livelihoods.

Through initiatives such as Rupantor ICT Lab, we equip students with digital literacy and modern tools, ensuring no learner is left behind in the era of technology. With Shwapno Chaka, we empower marginalized groups with sustainable income opportunities through digital electric rickshaws—helping them achieve economic independence while contributing to their communities.

Together, these initiatives embody who we are: a foundation guided by empathy, innovation, and collective responsibility. We act as a bridge between potential and realization, between opportunity and transformation. Our aspiration is a Bangladesh where self-reliant, informed, and skilled individuals drive progress, and where transformation is not a privilege for the few, but a shared journey for all.
